Description
Cinema, more than any other art form, shapes the image of reality that we hold in our minds. This influence of cinema is partly due to the way it communicates with us and partly due to its ability to create an image of reality that appears very believable and real. Although we are aware of the fictional nature of the stories that cinema tells us, we involuntarily immerse ourselves in the flow of images it presents and enjoy distancing ourselves from the sometimes unbearable realities around us, diving into another reality that is more pleasant and tolerable. In a sense, every cinematic work is a narrative of reality that the director and filmmakers recount, and in this retelling, they are more concerned with the beauty of their work and the desires they evoke or satisfy in us than with the accuracy of their narrative.
